Mt. Rainier Flora --
Arnica rydbergii -- (Rydberg's Arnica)
More common east of the Cascades, Rydberg's Arnica grows at high elevation on the east side of the Park. The lancelike leaves are not toothed; they are tufted at the base. The heads are solitary or sometimes two or three.
