Carex exsiccata

This tall sedge forms clumps from rootstocks. It is a species of ponds and wetlands at low elevations.

Carex exsiccata

Inflated Sedge is androgynous with the male flowers at the top of the compact, narrow spike. The plants may reach three feet in height.
