The flower in the center of the photo appears to be doubled with twice the number of carpels.

The basal leaves are nearly of uniform width and are broadly toothed above the middle. The flowers are often replaced by bulblike plantlets.

A common saxifrage, often found in disturbed sites, the flowers are quite striking, with five white petals, the top three being larger; there are yellow spots at the base.
