Podagrostis humilis

Primarily found on the east side of the Park, but also above Paradise, this small grass has been observed at an altitude of 10,000 feet. Here it grows on the rocky habitat of First Burroughs Mountain.

Podagrostis humilis

The flowers are borne in a dense inflorescence and the plants are typically very small. This species was formerly in the Agrostis genus.
