Mt. Rainier Flora -- Polemonium californicum -- (Showy Jacob's Ladder)

Polemonium californicum

Most often found in open, subalpine forests, and common along trails, this Polemonium also grows in meadows. The plants are tufted and lax, and the blue-violet flowers are bell-shaped with a yellow throat.
