The leaves are numerous and overlap, and the flowers are tubular and longer than wide.

Polemonium elegans

Occurring at elevations of 10,000 feet, and typically encountered by the visitor at 7,000 feet or more, this high altitude Polemonium is a tufted plant with glandular-hairy stems and leaves. The flowers are in a dense cluster.
