Mt. Rainier Flora --
Prosartes hookeri -- (Hooker's Fairy-Bells)
The leaves of this common lowland forest species are fringed with hairs and pointed at the tip. The stems can be three feet in length. The white flowers hang downward and are bell-shaped with widely spreading petals. The fruit is a red berry.
