Rosa gymnocarpa

The most common rose at the Park, Baldhip refers to the rounded hip that lacks any attachments, the petals falling as it matures.

The somewhat flattened pink flowers are borne in small clusters, and the leaflets are doubly-toothed. The many stamens create a broad yellow center.
