presented by Susan McDougall

Vaccinium membranaceum

The most common huckleberry at the Park, this is a low to middle elevation species, most often seen as an understory plant in coniferous forests. The deciduous leaves are tapered at the tip and the pinkish flowers are wider than long. The berries are tasty and abundant in many years.
