Mt. Rainier Flora -- Woodsia oregana -- (Oregon Cliff Fern)

Woodsia oregana

Found from low to very high elevations, Oregon Cliff Fern is uncommon at the Park. It grows in crevices and on talus slopes. The twice-pinnate fronds are quite slender and the blades lack hairs. This is subspecies oregana.
