Anaphalis margaritacea

A common perennial of low to middle elevations, often seen in disturbed sites as alongside roads. It colonizes readily, spreading by rootstocks. The leaves are narrow with woolly undersides.

Anaphalis margaritacea

The many flowering heads are in a flat-topped cluster. Each little head of dark yellow disc flowers is surrounded by bright white, papery bracts.
