The rarest anemone at the Park, found on high rocky ridges, such as the Dege Peak summit and also reported at lower east side locations. The stems and leaves are silky-hairy, and the leaves are 2-3 times divided.
The remains of the seed capsule are shown here. It is unclear whether it is the current or previous year's flower. The flowers are borne singly, and the petals are white with bluish below.
