presented by Susan McDougall

Artemisia suksdorfii

Noted for the first time in 2016, this is more typically a lowland species in the Puget Trough. Here it is growing near the woods along the levee. The leaves are lancelike to elliptical, sometimes lobed and whitish beneath. The inflorescence consists of numerous heads, and the yellowish flowers are tube-like.
