Clinopodium douglasii

This is a beautiful little mint, quite uncommon at the Park, but sometimes encountered alongside roads at low elevations. The toothed leaves are evergreen, oval and sometimes hairy, and purplish beneath.

Clinopodium douglasii

Yerba Buena grows as a groundcover with slender, woody stems. The dried leaves make a fine tea.
