Equisetum variegatum

The conelike structures are less than a centimeter tall.

Equisetum variegatum

Known from a single location at the Park, the stems are unbranched and have about 5-10 grooves. The cones are small.

The many stems are growing near the edge of a wet meadow. This is subspecies variegatum.
