Eriogonum compositum

Fairly common above 5,000 feet on rocky slopes and flats, the leaves vary from oval to arrowhead-shaped. Yellow-flowered plants are occasionally seen.

The flowers are borne in a compound umbel. When in bloom, the plants are showy and quite unmistakable.
