Erythranthe caespitosa

Locally common in subalpine meadows, the presence of several large plants in the Nisqually River bed at Longmire may be attributable to the seeds coming downstream in a flood.

Erythranthe caespitosa

The flowers are two-lipped, an inch wide, and spotted with red at the throat. The leaves are oval and stalkless.
