Galium trifidum

Found in lower elevation meadows, this is an uncommon bedstraw. The sprawling stems are as much as 30 inches in length, and the leaves are in whorls.

Galium trifidum

The greenish-white flowers are borne in clusters in side branches and the ends of the stems. This is subspecies columbianum.
