The small solitary flowers have five white petals with black spots and are somewhat bowl-shaped. This is a locally common annual, particularly on the south side of the Park.

The pinnately-lobed leaves of this delicate annual are borne on stems that reach about eight inches in length. They are coarsely toothed.
