Pedicularis racemosa

This lousewort is distinguished by having undivided leaves; other species at the Park have pinnately-divided leaves. This is variety racemosa which has pinkish flowers. Found in meadows and woods, Sickletop Lousewort grows from low elevations to the middle subalpine.

The upper lip of the flower is strongly curved, touching the lower lip.

Variety alba has white flowers and pale green leaves. It is much less common than the pink-flowered variety.
