Pterospora andromedea

A fairly common leafless species at the Park, Pinedrops may exceed three feet in height, making it quite conspicuous in the dry forests where it grows.

This is a lowland species that exchanges water and nutrients with conifers and fungi. It is a member of the Heather (Ericaceae) Family.
