A rare buttercup, known only from the northeast side of the Park, this is a species of subalpine wet meadows. It is distinguished by the leaves which are undivided, lancelike, and untoothed. The leaves are primarily basal although the stems may have a small pair below the inflorescence.
The yellow flowers may be borne singly or as 2-3 individuals on an eight-inch stalk. This is variety alismifolius.
