Mt. Rainier Flora --
Salix planifolia -- (Tea-leaved Willow)
Rare at the Park, this large shrubby willow was found at Tipsoo Lake near an inlet stream. It is often a species of rocky slopes.

The elliptical leaves are shiny dark green above and glaucous beneath; they lack teeth.
