Silene oregana

Found only near the eastern boundary of the Park, Oregon Catchfly is more common in eastern Washington and the southern Cascades. The plants are tufted and the stems hairy and glandular on the top.

Silene oregana

Each broad petal (the blade) is divided into lobes which are also deeply divided. The stems bear short leaves and 8-10 flowers. A rosette of longer, untoothed basal leaves is also present.
