Stachys cooleyae

A member of the Mint Family that lacks a minty fragrance, Cooley's Hedge-nettle is frequently seen in wet habitat at low elevations.

Stachys cooleyae

The flowers are arranged in a loose, tall cluster; they are two-lipped and spotted with white below. The leafy stems are often purplish.
