Growing in moist forests dominated by Red Alder in the Nisqually River valley, this is an uncommon Starwort at the Park.

Stellaria borealis

The stems are up to two feet long and the leaves are narrow. The flowers are borne in a small cyme; there are 5 sepals and 5 divided petals. This is subspecies sitchana.
