Known from Longmire Meadow, this more southerly False-Hellebore is striking plant when in bloom. Similar to the common Green False-Hellebore, the petals are white with greenish markings, and the panicles are erect.

Six feet tall, the stems are leafy. The leaves are stalkless and "pleated"

Here the tall flowering stems are easy to see among the many leaves. The group grows near the Longmire Meadow on the north side. This is subspecies caudatum.
